These were quite the find. Perfect for helping to scan car parts for 3D printing to Carbon. The dots are reusable if you are careful. They work as expected.

These 6mm positioning targets appear slightly darker than Creaform-brand positioning targets, and the target material seems slightly thinner, but the reflective portion seems consistently centered and they are detected sufficiently well using a Creaform HandyScan. The adhesive seems similar to the name-brand positioning targets, and didn't seem to leave any glue-goo, but I didn't test either target for a prolonged period. I tested these with indoor lighting at 70F on a cardboard box.

I tried these markers with a new Einscan 3d scanner. I have zero experience scanning, but it's been days of fun learning. The scanners were on order, then I see these markers, and selected them. The manual suggests using only its brand-name scanning markers. I wondered why, what are the differences? These PargaDeco brand have a caution label: "Static sensitive device" ? What's up with that? I figured a marker is just a dot with adhesive. In any case, I tested these PargaDeco along side the ones the scanner provided, and they appear in some ways different. Glue is different, so they were easier to remove from the melamine coffee cup, and reuse. Slightly different color and brightness may account for the scan-differences. Also different scanners use different forms of lighting... InfraRed .. laser... Who knows what these things are best suited for. Asking price was $10.99 for 300. They work fine as far as I know. It looks like a "texture" scan is best for tracking markers. The faster non-textured scan didn't see them and just made holes where these dots are.

I was rooting for these to work. Unfortunately, they do not light up in the scanning software as the markers provided by Einscan do. This means that the scanner loses tracking on the object and depends only on features. They are twice the size of the markers used by Einscan's EXscan Pro software. They have all the physical properties needed for a scanning dot with the reflective center dot and black outline and will probably work just fine with other scanning software that can recognize the larger dot size. Three stars since they claimed it worked with Eiscan scanners (maybe they work for other models, but not for mine).

These small sheets of 3D scanning dot stickers are actually great. They arrive in a small static sensitive zip lock type of bag with all of the sticker sheets inside. They look exactly as they show in the listing pictures with all of the dots in organized rows on the sticker sheets. The dots work great and to my surprise, they actually are able to be removed, stuck back onto the plastic sheet, and still be able to be reused again. When I ordered them I was almost certain they would be a one use sticker despite the advertising. But the good thing is, nope, they are actually reusable. Overall, fantastic 3D scanning dots that are actually reusable and look exactly as they show in the listing pictures.
