What a beautiful pots . Very good for my orchids.

I grow many of my orchids in plastic pots, but this thick acrylic pot is much more decorative than the thin-walled plastic pots I typically use. It has drainage at the bottom but unfortunately one set of drainage holes is located so that they will sit right against the surface that the pot is sitting on. I prefer pots that have a raised bottom that will allow all of the drainage holes to work properly. This pot however may not drain properly because the majority of drainage holes will be against the surface that the pot is sitting on. Adequate drainage is important to orchid growers so that the media is not sitting in water. Unfortunately, the design of this pot does not have raised drainage holes which is my preference to ensure that the media is not constantly wet. Unlike the clear plastic pots this acrylic pot is completely see-thru. It also comes with a matching acrylic saucer that is quite deep. It is a very nice-looking pot that would be deserving of five stars if not for the location of the holes at the very bottom.

The media could not be loaded. This is better than I thought. High quality and exactly what I needed for my next pot!
