This patch and seal repair tape is super sticky and I wish I had first red the review where they sprayed their scissors with non stick cooking spray , this is an excellent tip, but unfortunately I did not see the review until after I used the tape, and the scissors that I used with this tape are glued shut at this moment. The tape does work, but not on all types of pipes or material though. I was lucky to have this tape on hand to help stop a leak on a pipe in my kitchen until I was able to get a professional to repair.

I first used this tape to patch a kiddie pool that the dogs play in at our local bark-park. After applying I immediately filled the pool and the tape peeled away. So I tried again, letting it rest until the next day and voila! it's held ever since. I also used to patch the inflatable insert in a Coleman camping cot. The cot was so old they don't make the insert anymore, but with this tape the insert is hold air just fine. That patch didn't need a 4" wide piece but you can cut it to any size. I found scissors get gummy when cutting this tape, but a utility knife works great. Very versatile item to have on hand if you like doing handling your own everyday emergencies.

I don't know that I'd try this on anything pressurized like plumbing, but it work great to repair a couple big heavy duty industrial strength slip and slides. They get a lot of use but have accumulated a lot of wear and tear over the years. This stuff is great, it has good strength but is water proof. We used it on the baffles that hold air on the sides and they held up to a full day of hard play by dozens of kids.

This tape is incredibly easy to use on certain repairs where it will stick properly and do exactly what it says. It is waterproof and holds cracks in nicks in a pipe shut quite well. As for how easy it is to cut, I guess that depends on how much patience you have cleaning your blades or scissors has the residue will definitely stick to your blade. But that is a simple solution and doesn't get in the way too much. And my experience, it has worked well in every task it has been put up against. The only disadvantage I've found, is when you wrap around sharper corners close to the edge of the tape, the tape is prone to peeling/lifting in those areas. Best to make sure to cut excess amounts so that it'll reach back and overlap with itself just to make sure. For roundes pipes, it seems to be holding just fine. So my experience where it was lifting was specifically with a bidet where the control unit that comes out to the right developed a small crack leading to beads of water seeping from it. Since the surface of this unit was not perfectly round, it led to the not so perfectly round corners with the tape started peeling.
