Finger saver

The best feature of these tongues is the small serrated tips and the long handle that saves you from getting burnt when grabbing your food.

These are not the tongs for cooking on a large BBQ grill

I have a large hand and the tongs are useable but not very comfortable in my hand after a few minutes. They are not stored easily unless hung. The tongs are not for the BBQ cook on a large grill unless you're wearing heat resistant mitts. They're not long enough to keep you away from the heat especially if you're reaching to the back of the grill. I wouldn't use them when cooking in a non-stick pan, metal utensils and non stick pans don't mix. I'd be very selective on the seafood I used these on, for example I would not us them when cooking scallops but would on shrimp. Where they are useful in grabbing cooked food such as sausage, hotdogs, chicken, and corn also reaching onto jars.

Kitchen tongs

These are probably the best tongs I have used in a long time. They are very sturdy and stiff enough to grab things easily and because they are thin, similar to chopsticks, they're very versatile and I'm able to easily use them. They may not work for every situation but they do work for a lot of things, and better than normal tongs.

GOT THESE FOR MY HUSBAND AS HE DOES THE BULK OF OUR COOKING. HE GENERALLY DOESN'T CARE TO TRY NEW THINGS! HE REALLY LIKES THESE.

These work . . . but a bit too light duty!

These tongs do work as advertised. However, I wouldve preferred that were a bit more heavy duty. I can easily pick up small things like a cheese ball with them but Im not at all sure that I would be able to pick up something heavier like a steak. My assessment of these is that they are OK, but they are not exactly what I would want if I were picking out tongs again.
