Size: 6 Positions 4PCS I ordered these Tugermoola busbars to use in re-wiring the 13.8VDC circuits in my Ham Radio cabinet. Even though I currently use AWG 10 wiring, the bus bars will handle AWG 8 wire, which will allow me to increase capacity in the future should I want to. The brass bus bars are the familiar style with the binding screws accepting flat head, Phillips head #2, or the FPH2 combination electricians bit. Mounting is by a single screw on each end of the blue plastic insulators. Unfortunately there is no documentation supplied with the bus bars, so current handling capacity, voltage design limits, torque specifications for the binding screws, among numerous other specs are left for the user to make decisions about. My decision is to use these for low voltage DC. But I sure wish I knew what the specs are.

This review is for the Tugermoola brand 6 piece (6/8/10) insulated brass grounding bars. I like these grounding bus bars. They are simple, but functional. The plastic standoffs feel sturdy. The brass bus bars are 6 mm thick and 9 mm tall. The largest gauge of wire these will fit is 8 AWG. I dont have any bare 8 gauge copper wire handy. Though, I included a couple of photos of a true 8 gauge wire ferrule inserted into one of the bus bars for reference. I found two potential issues with these bus bars. First, each of the screws are loose fitting. Extra care is needed to make sure a strong and lasting connection is achieved. Second, the insulating stand offs are held from the bottom with a brass machine screw. There is very little clearance between the top of that screw and the bottom of the insulator. That is no problem if the intent is to electrically bond the bus bar to what ever it is bring mounted to. Otherwise, an additional standoff may be needed.
