Each cutting device works great so far, and they all have a safety locking mechanism. I think this is a great value for 3 quality garden tools. The sharpening device is an added bonus to keep the blades nice and sharp to last longer. There are no instructions for using the sharpener though, which would have been helpful. Overall, you can go wrong with this deal if your avid gardener. Whether needing these tools to start your garden or to have as a spare, they are sure to get the job done! A 3 pack of gardening scissors and a sharpening tool for $8 is an amazing value! These are incredibly sharp and I was even able to easily cut a half inch thick branch off my tree! I love the versatility of this set and I will be using these A LOT more this fall when my bushes and plants need cut back and harvested! My only complaint is the smallest scissors have a bent lock mechanism, so I can't keep them shut. It doesn't impact my ability to use it hence only the 1 star off the review.

The media could not be loaded. A few weeks ago, I inadvertently lost my pruning shears in the garden. While some vegetables like tomatoes dont need to be clipped from the mother plant, others like crook neck squash need to be clipped or else they could damage the plant. I usually dont purchase gardening tools online; its too convenient for me to pick them up at a local feed store. However, the size of these caught my attention. When I received the package, I was astounded by the weight of these tools. These are heavy duty tools, make no mistake, but their weight makes a huge difference, particularly during gardening. My previous (still missing) shears weighed a ton in my hand, but with these, it feels so lightweight that I dont feel like Im physically lugging something around. And theyre the perfect size to fit in my pocket, unlike my previous pair. All three shears have a lock on them and with the bright color, Ill easily be able to find them when I drop them (as I most assuredly will). This set also comes with a sharpening stone to keep the tools in tip top shape. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how well made these are. Ive already used them in the field and they easily snapped elderberry canes, but more importantly, they cut the canes clean. I absolutely recommend these!

I ordered this because I needed a set of pruning shears for fine work. I have some shears for coarse work, but they are too large and awkward for fine, precision work. These clippers are very good for fine and precision pruning work. They fit into tight spaces and they cut cleanly. The grips are comfortable, and the bright color makes them difficult to misplace if you set them down somewhere. I like that they come with a tiny sharpening tool. Overall, I think this is a good set of clippers for fine and precision pruning. Five stars.

These lightweight, sharp, easy-to-use shears belong in every kitchen and garden tool drawer. They all feature safety clips that hold the jaws closed to prevent injury (see photo). While the product description says they are garden tools, they also make great culinary scissors, and the large one can even double as a poultry shear. We've only had them a few days, and have already used them multiple times. Great product, 5 stars.
