could not get 1/4" tubing on to these

I bought tubing and a coupler kit. The couplers had no problem connecting to the tubing. couldn't get the tubing past the barb on these. even tried soaping them. Returned.

Just what I needed

Set up a drip irrigation line around my pool and these were an improvement t from what came with the rain bird set. Pretty tight to get the line on but I used a grippy work glove and went on easier. Good spread and plenty of extra pieces to put out another line.

No review I have a question?

Is there anyway to calculate flow rate by twisting the head of these ? One turn 5 gallons two turns 10 three turns 20 on and on and on? I know its gonna depend on the pressure of the system as well as the size of the feeder lines. A ballpark would be great.

Good but a few things to know before buying

You can't beat the value on these and overall they are well built. The two things I found noteworthy are the size of the hose connection piece and the flow control. Like most others, the hose connects by pushing it over the barbed end. The problem is the connection is bigger than standard and requires "a lot" of effort to push the hose on. Ultimately it works and I doubt the hose will ever come loose, but I can see many giving up or trying hot water/heat/etc. to get it to work. The other thing to be aware of is the adjustment. It goes from off to full pretty easily and you have to play with it a bit to get the right flow. Open to much and the top flies off. These aren't show stoppers, but just something to help set expectations. I would buy again and I'm hoping to find half circle sprayers at this price!
