Clean cuts

This pair of pruners are easy and comfortable to hold and use. I like the ratcheting action which means cutting through larger branches, rose branches easier they are sharp and make a smooth cut. They are very well-built and put together. I havent had a problem with them coming apart. They are a good product for the price. I am very happy with him.

I havent used a pruner like this before with only one blade, usually I have the ones that have 2 blades and are kind of like scissors but those sometimes get pieces of wood trapped in them that are hard to take out. This doesnt allow for that and from what I can tell it works just as well as any other one

decent for pruning small bushes

I like the way these feel in your hands, they are very well designed in that respect. Certainly sharp and the lock feature works well. The bad news is the spring doesn't open the sheers to there full opening size and sometimes need help by the operator to do that. Otherwise a pretty good value.

Pruners at the box stores go for at least $20 so these are a fair deal. They are comfortable in hand and sharp enough to prune my rose bushes in minutes. The presentation is confusing as far as I can tell. This blade style is not bypassing, but the blade cuts on a plastic anvil, which I worry about its durability. There are no serrations on the blade, just on the plastic anvil, which grips the branches. It features an adjustable jaw with 2 settings, I didn't understand why at first, but I did after trying it. If you are doing a lot of cutting of smaller branches, it take less effort to close the pruners at the smaller setting. this is actually a good idea to cut down on hand strain. The tool works as intended and seems very sharp and smooth. A good deal for these sharp pruners!
