The PolyEnergy adjustable solar panel brackets are made of 8mm (.18") anodized aluminum and are adjustable from 4 to 7" and are 4' wide. The brackets come with 3 main Stainless steel hex bolts and two other smaller anodized hex nuts that I used to attach the bracket to my 150W outdoor mounted aluminum framed solar panel. They are adjustable , however depending on your mounting needs, you might need 2 sets ! These brackets are of good guality , and all the hardware is furnished to securely mount large solar panels !

These mounting brackets are great for the smaller solar panels. The traditional 39 x 66 panels are too big and heavy for these type of brackets. If you have a small 12 V solar panel, it would be perfect for that.

It works but doesn't angle all that much. If you just need a bit of pitch it'll work. Hardware is decent quality. Pain to adjust often so it's a set and forget. Keep in mind this is for a single mount point.. Not two.

Do not mount in the center of a solar panel with frame as depicted at the end of the video and the single bracket photo on a fence post. Solar panel frames go around the perimeter for a reason. The perimeter frame is the strong part and only area where a panel should receive mounting brackets. Only very small <20w frameless panels should be mounted as depicted with adhesive. Otherwise wind loading and added inertia from the frame will cause panel cracking. Panels greater than 20w with frames should split the bracket and drill into the side of the perimeter frame for a 2 pad mount on the panel centerline. These brackets should not be used on frameless panels greater than 20w unless at least 4 mounting points, or reinforcing beams are used to reduce panel flex. There are 2 different sizes of bolts included, the larger 3 clamping bolts fit the slots. The smaller 2 yellow colored bolts do not. They very nearly just fall right through the slot with only a miniscule edge holding on. The yellow bolts should not be included at all, but at least 1 more large silver bolt would be useful for split mounting.

It wasn't totally clear to me whether I was buying a pair of brackets, or just one. The listing seemed to indicate that there was just one bracket (with two halves), but I couldn't wrap my head around how just one would be useful. So I assumed (or perhaps hoped) that two were included. Nope! Just one. My mistake. After I got it, I looked more closely and watched the product video. Basically this is meant to mount to the edge of one small solar panel, OR you can use the included adhesive and glue it to the back of the panel. I think it would work to edge-mount it on a very small panel, say up to 25 watts or so. But for a 50W or bigger panel, I think a strong gust of wind would cause the panel's frame to deform. As for the adhesive, again I think it might work fine for a small panel as shown in the product video. But there's no way I would trust it on the back of a 100W or 150W (!!!) panel as the product listing indicates. I could see using a pair of these on opposite edges of a larger panel. That would be strong enough to hold, I think, but I imagine it would be awfully fiddly to adjust the title angle since you're dealing with up to six screws for two brackets. In the end, I'm left with a feeling of "why did I get this?". The product is as described in the listing, and the aluminum feels thick and well made. So it's not a quality problem. It just seems like a solution in search of a problem, at least for me. 3.5/5 stars. If you want to mount a very small panel that you can tilt to pretty much any angle, I think this might be a good choice. Personally, I would not be comfortable using one of these on a 50W+ panel, and I'm not going to try. But maybe you're more adventurous!
