Very cheaply made product. 5 ft is counting the net attachment which maybe I misread. Too short. Attachments need oil to get them on. Very flimsy. Doesn't even make it to the middle of my walmart pool. Not recommended.

This is just...bad

Massive mold lines that are sharp all over it. This skimmer would likely cut my pool liner. I know you get what you pay for and this thing is cheap, but wow. This is just like bad. Sharp mold lines, the tolerances on the handle are so bad, the sections of the shaft do not go together without massive force, and I'm not going to try any harder cause this is getting returned. Further, the actual handle section is warped and not straight. The manufacturer of this should feel ashamed of the quality of the product. The resources used to make this cheap have been wasted. If I had gotten this for free, I'd have tossed it in a box somewhere in my basement and never used it and would only not throw it in the trash because I'd feel bad someone gave it to me. At least the net doesn't have holes in it, I guess, if I have to say something nice.

Works great

Very flexible and gets a lot of the dirt. Just wish it was a little more sturdy, the neck feels flimsy.

Worst. Soup spoon. Ever.

This pool skimmer is actually pretty great. I used to have to pull the used condoms out of my pool by handand let me tell you, that is really only fun the first five or six times. Now I can use this skimmer to get them out of the water, and then stick my bare hand into the skimmer to transfer the ol Jimmy hats to the trash. Such an improvement. Five stars all the way. Plus: its also moderately effective at removing leaves and other natural detritus that Im told some people find in their pools.

Sufficiently does the job

I needed a new net because mine tore. This was functions as it should but the plastic frame around the netting is really flimsy. If you sweep it through the water using the slightest force, it bends/flexes. Regardless it does what it needs to do.
