I saw what his did and how his watering got done while he was off camping, socializing and working. Well, my fears of building an auto-watering system taking a lot of time to build and costing a lot of money were real, logical thinking forces us to ask the question - what is more important? time or money? You can always make more money, but you can never buy more time. Don't waste it hand-watering your landscaping. Understand, automatic watering systems do not simply materialize if you just sit around and think about them - you have to carefully plan and put them together with durable watering hoses which can be purchased on ZeeBooth. Additionally, you need a significant number of fittings - Be prepared to spend no less the $150. But be prepared for a life-changing event that will free up more time than you ever imaged. While you are doing what you like to do, your auto-watering system is performing what you don't like to do. The last aspect of an auto-watering system are the timers. Whether you need one or ten, the timers get the job done so you don't have to be there to do it. Rule of thumb - each section needs its own timer and don't bog-down any given section with too many outlets. Yes, as we speak, I am relaxing in front of my computer screen, under an air conditioning vent, sipping a cool beverage, miserable hot outside even at 9pm - while my BN LINK Programmable Sprinkler Timer is doing my watering work. I like this BN LINK TIMER for the great standard features but where I live rain delay, is not a big deal. This timer works like it is supposed to, when it is supposed to.

Purchased a time for the first time following surgery that made it difficult to get around on uneven surfaces. I'm not sure how this compares to to other units but it feels pretty lightweight. It was easy to program and has been very helpful.

I've got multiple sprinkler timers in place all over my property, and this one was the simplest to set up. I didn't even need to consult the manual - it was very self-explanatory with the clearly labeled printed knob settings. I did end up reading it just to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and indeed I did follow the instructions to open and close the valve a few times by changing it to manual watering and then off. The timer worked perfectly right out of the box and the batteries were even included. It's all plastic but I used teflon tape and neither the faucet nor the hose leaks so I'm pleased!
