Not as sticky as regular duct tape

This is the emergency tape everyone needs. If your boat is broken tape it up and sail it gently to safety. If your bumper is flapping this is the stuff to make it whole again. . Humpty Dumpty would be with us had this tape been at the ready, Wide and sticky hard to peel off once in place.

So far the biggest annoyance with the tape is that once out of the wrapper, the edges of the roll are sticky. Need to be careful not to set the roll on its side lest you pick dirt or dust. The tape is very wide making it great for many uses. Mower arms rubber covers were ripping so this quickly held the grip in place. Next up is patching holes the kids made in a metal shed. Hopefully this will hold up to the heat and cold as well as the description mentioned. The color of the tape is off white with slightly opaque which allows some of the color underneath to show through. Store this roll in something like a gallon bag to avoid picking up unwanted debris.

I was pretty taken aback when i received this roll as i hadn't realized quite how big a roll this would be. It's darn huge and very thick. After the shock, i was very happy to find out how strong this stuff is. It is like a reinforced clear fabric and is very sticky. It seems at least as sticky as regular duct tape, and maybe even more so. No issues there. And i haven't found that it leaves any residue when removed. I find that it tears OK by hand, although i found some tears were a little ragged on the edges. Other tears were clean. Always, though, it was a straight tear across the tape and none went wrong, like some do on me and occasionally follow along the roll if i am not careful. And this is straight across 4 inches, not 2 like my regular duct tape. It's pretty handy to have a clear tape for repairs, etc, instead of my usual black or silver. I have already found several uses for it. Good stuff.

I was enchanted with this duct tape because it is white. Don't ask me why, but it just called me. Well, I'm glad it did - this is great tape. Having the 4" roll is handy for big jobs. It's strong, and I was able to replace some butyl tape on my mailbox alert with this tape. That was highly desirable because the butyl tape is very sticky. Hopefully this tape will be as waterproof as the butyl tape. At any rate, it stands eager and ready for all those household jobs that need strength and convenience - and now the good looks of the white tape!
