My Second One

Although it shows I purchased a different brand before this one, they are identical so as far as I am concerned this is my second one. They do wear out after a time. I noticed the first one was quite dim so I bought this one. It is a lot brighter now and will no doubt work as well or better than the first one. I leave it on the purple light all the time. It definitely zaps moths and gets the occasional mosquito, too.

I admit, I was sceptable when I purchased this bulb. I was looking for anything to help stop all the nasty bugs from coming in my home every time I opened the door. It was very easy to install. It screws in just like a regular bulb. It has 3 settings, on, on with blue light bug zapper, & off. It REALLY works! I will say that I had to replace them after 1 year but it's worth every penny. They aren't that expensive either! We have a lot less flying insects coming in when we open the door!!! You can see its working when you look inside and see all the insects the zapper has conquered! Buy it, use it, love it!

Mosquitos and Other Small Flying Bugs Beware!

This past summer we had a problem with mosquitos and other small flying insects making their way into our screened porch. I got this bug zapper bulb to put on the porch in hopes that we won't have this issue once it warms back up. I did a test run and even though it has gotten cooler and mosquitos aren't an issue right now, a few unlucky flying bugs did manage to get themselves zapped. Mosquitos and other bugs are now on notice that our porch is not the place to be next spring and summer unless they want to get zapped.
