My Airstream's bath vent started leaking so I got a new vent, stripped off the old one and all the residue and put this butyl tape under the vent as the first seal. The tape is coiled with a white plastic tape to protect the butyl from becoming a big mess. It's packed inside a flat box to further protect it. I think this was very well done. I found it easy to use and then store in my garage fridge for future use. I finished off the vent installation with some white Sikaflex 715 https://www.ZeeBooth.com/dp/B00NBPZ90C - no leaks in 2 months

Was getting some water in my car from 20+ year old leaking door barriers and decided to replace the tape on all 4 doors. Not quite enough to do all 4 doors but made it work by stretching it a bit. Great adhesion. Since replacing, no more water getting in. Recommended.

Although this tape sealed ok, getting the white mastic off was a whole other matter. Once the tape was laid into the channel, the mastic wouldn't come off and made a huge mess. It would stay stuck to the butyl and take the butyl out of the channel or come off with strings of butyl that get all over the part and surrounding engine bay.

I used this adhesive for my car door since the vapor barrier had a leak, causing my floor mats to get wet. Works great and now theres no leak!
