Very low manetic pull, won't hold my heavier utensils. I would guess 8 ounces (1/2 lb) at best.

I bought a box of six magnetic hooks. They seem to be well made and have very strong magnets for the size they are. I used several of them on a recent cruise to hang hats and light jackets on the cruise cabin wall. They easily held papers in place on the wall, much easier than larger magnets. Great purchase!

These are very very small. I was going to return them because I am not sure they will work for me. I wanted to use them to hold (towels, jackets, clothes etc.). These are very strong and they will hold these items with no problem! However, the hook is very small so you would have to hang items by the tags or put the item on a hanger. When cruising, you don't get very many hangers so it's a bummer. I will keep these since they were so inexpensive. Just slightly disappointed in the size. The look larger online.
