NJ MOSQUITO MAGNET

We Live on 3 acres. 2 are wooded. I bought this about a month ago for specifically for mosquitoes. I've already had the dyna traps for over a year. One of the large and 2 medium. But these are a game changer! Added one packet to the biggest one. HAVE NOT SEEN A MOSQUITO SINCE ADDING SACHET. Until today.... after work, sitting by pool...mosquito landed on me. Turned to hubby and said "MOSQUITO!". He said, "I unplugged the zapper. I needed the cord." I so lovingly told him to plug it back in...IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! True Story. This Stuff Works!

As Expected

Appears to help, but I cant be completely confident. This summer, I will use the trap without this addition and see if there are any more or less bugs than the summer before.

It definately works in a Mosquito Magnet. But does not seem to attract Asian Tigers

After 20 years of running a Mosquito Magnet Liberty I finally went out and bought a Liberty Plus. This is a really good unit, but I'm talking about the lure. Ran the magnet the first night with no lure and picked up a good bit of brown mosquitoes. Popped the lure in the bottom of the snout (left the cap off) and the next day *MORE* mosquitoes. It's picking up the big brown ones and the small brown ones which fly at night. However it's not attracting the Asian Tigers, which we have here in Maryland. Ug. So I'll run this for awhile and see if I can get one of my old Liberty units working again at which point I'll go back to Lurex (which did work for AT's). But if you have the annoying brown night mosquitoes this will definitely call them into the trap.

This is great at killing other bugs, but not Mosquitos

I ran the DynaTrap DT1050-TUNSR Mosquito & flying Insect Trap and DynaTrap 100611 Atrakta Mosquito Lure for 20+ days non-stop and it did not kill any mosquitos. It is good at killing moths and other insects.

It smells like BO

I opened the package immediately before placing it in my bug zapper and its a bit moist and it smells like BO. It kind of made me laugh because it says it replicates the smell of a human and I guess when we are outside, in the heat, we must put off BO. I just put it in the zapper so Ill need to check in a day or two if its effective. Update-Its been a few days and the smell has dissipated. I still have lots of flies but very few mosquitoes. It says to change out in 8 weeks. Ive marked my calendar and will update. So far, so good.
