I don't like the messy overspray of using a spray bottle to wet my watercolor paint palettes so I prefer to use droppers with water instead. This dropper bottle seemed like a good alternative that'd fit well in my art bag for on the go use. It does do a really good job with that task. It's small and does not leak; although the cap at the top of the dropper tip is not that well secured so it could certainly come off and let it leak everywhere. I keep it in a little plastic snack baggie in my kit just in case and haven't had any issues with it so far. Like I said, it's really small but holds enough water for wetting watercolor pans. My only hesitation is the price. It seems rather high priced for what you're getting but I'm assuming there's likely a "lab tax" for anything intended for lab usage. I would not have ordered this at full price.

The materials are sturdy, and I am happy with the topper. It threads onto the reservoir securely. The nozzle allows for slow, controlled drops. The nozzle cap has a stopper that fits snug into the nozzle tip, and the "strap" connecting the cap to the topper is sturdy enough that I don't worry about it snapping off and getting lost. There are cheaper droppers, but I feel more comfortable with this one. It's more expensive, but better quality where it matters. I'll use them for distilled water and caustic paint thinners for hobby painting.
