Works perfect for shielding vinyl fence from heat from gas grill

Keeps Refrigerator Side Cool

Our kitchen was set up with the refrigerator right next to our gas stove. And I mean *right* next to it. If we use the burners on that side, the side of the fridge gets really hot. This was a bit too large, but I folded the excess and hung it with extra strong magnets. It works really well. If I'm using the side burners and put my hand under the shield it is quite cool! The shield is also very easy to clean up - I just give it a swipe with Simple Green at the same time I'm cleaning the stovetop. Definitely worth it!

It's so effective! Works amazing.

We have a woodstove right next to our refrigerator (it was literally the only place to put it in our very small house), so this heat shield is key to keeping the fridge from working too hard. The side of the fridge where it is uncovered will be too hot to touch, but underneath, it's as though there is no fire at all. We're buying a second one to fully cover that side of the fridge. It holds on fine with powerful magnets - we tried using the grommets at first, but that left an extra gap that hot air was coming in, so they made it less useful. I imagine they would be helpful in different situations.

Great protection for heat

I bought this product to go on the vinyl siding of a house Im renting for extra protection behind my portable smoker that I keep on the back porch. It has worked perfectly! I noticed that before I hung it up, the siding was kind of brown and thankfully it wiped off easily. I knew if I didnt put something there to protect it, it would eventually mess up the siding. This has worked perfectly! I have used the smoker several times after hanging this behind it and it has provided great protection. The vinyl is still in great shape!

Caught on fire!

This is not only junk, but it's dangerous! It caught fire within the first 2 minutes of being in place and destroyed the wall behind it! Not fireproof at all. Huge fire risk. So angry.
