This hose is extremely easy to use

Easy to install. It hold the garden hose together. It does leak a little, but generally does its job well.

Works just fine for 1/2 inch. Will not fit larger heavy hoses. May fit thinner hoses.

So far, these are the best hose connectors I have ever used. I just received them, so as far as longevity, I can't say. Initial reaction is excellent though. They installed easily. They fit my hose (definitely check the OD on your hose as others suggested). I am using lightweight hose so the OD is narrow. To test them, I put a spray nozzle on the hose turned off. I then turned the water on completely and left it for half an hour. No leaks and the water rushed out when I hit the trigger. The ID on the connectors themselves are narrow, so you might get a little less pressure, but I didn't notice any. Okay, here is why I really like them. Almost all other inline repair hardware has flaws. The old brass tube with two hose clamps works perfectly, until you slide the hose through your hands and slice through your fingers. The plastic screw down type work okay if you can manage to get them tight without stripping the metal screw in the plastic housing (happens to me about 50% of the time). The design of these is fantastic. They are fairly slim and smooth, and tightening one side effectively tightens the other when installing them. So it is really easy to get them water tight just with hand tightening. They are plastic (not a fan), so we will see if they can stand up to UV.
