I like to work in my yard and around the house. Our house doesn't have a built-in sprinkler system. Considering these things, I use several different hose nozzles and sprinklers during my time working in the yard. I saw these on ZeeBooth and liked the looks of them, so I ordered a set. They arrived quickly. I've tried various quick connect/release adapters with mixed results. These are the best ones I've used so far! With my initial inspection I was impressed by the quality. They're made of brass and are very nicely machined. They attach very easily. Just screw them onto your hoses and nozzles or sprinklers. One thing that I liked right away is that the male threaded ends have a hexagon formed right into the brass so you can get a really snug connection using a wrench. Every other type I've tried just has a plastic ring attached that never seems to work well, and breaks off easily. As for the quick-connect feature, this one works great! This again is the only type I've had that has an O-ring on the male side to create a non-leaking connection. The female side has the locking collar. The collar has a little slot and pin system that keeps the connector aligned properly. It also secures nicely, and you can feel that it's connected. My only criticism is the reason I gave this four stars instead of five. The set comes with five each male and female connectors. I have two hoses, but quite a few nozzles and sprinklers. The set should come with at least three to four male ends for each female end. Overall this is a great addition to my yard tool collection. The quality is excellent, the seals work great, and the price is decent. If the ratio of connectors was better I would call this almost perfect. I would definitely recommend this for your garden and yard work needs!

I can't vouch for their longevity because I just got them, but they make it very simple to connect and disconnect hoses. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy 5 of the pieces that connect to the nozzles/sprinklers/etc. without having to buy just as many pieces that connect to the hose. I just need two of the pieces that connect to the hose (front yard and back yard), but I need 7 or 8 of the pieces that connect to everything else (sprinkler, nozzle, Miracle Grow sprayer, pressure washer, chemical sprayer, car foamer...

I use my pressure washer a lot in my shop and have disconnects for the wands, nozzles, and the pressure washer hose. I thought it would be handy to do the same for the water hose. These garden hose quick disconnects worked out perfectly. Now it is super easy to hook up and breakdown the entire water pressure set up. The brass fittings are all nicely machined and the quick disconnect collar moves smoothly. To attach the male ends there are wrench slots to tighten it but the female end just hand tightens on. The male and female parts snap smartly together and seal as you would expect if you do your job and make sure to seat them properly. These work really well and Im very happy with them.
