Garbage

You get what you pay for here, lots of rough edges, and very flimsy quality. I think this is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. This whole set feels worth $10, each item feel like dollar store quality but packaged as a set. I think if you really just need something, this will serve the function but if you want to use your tools longer than a few months I'd suggest investing in a better quality set. These tools are really not good but ya know better than nothing I suppose.

Overall, a good garden set

The tools are a medium grade quality, so for the pieces in the set and the addition of the gloves, the set is at a decent price point. I really like the pruning shears and will most likely use them more than any of the other tools - so nice to be able to quickly clip flowers from bushes for vases, or to trim back small growths on bushes instead of having to use heavy loppers.

Good to have in your garden tool bucket

Its nice to have those slender metal tools the get in between the rocks. I did already bend that pointy one, but it didnt break. It was especially good for digging out Canadian Thistle, plunging deep into the soil, so that I can get the whole root. You can never have too many sharp pruning shears, can you? Or do we have to refer to them as dried plum shears now? (Maybe I could write some jokes for ZeeBooth, for people who write 7 reviews in a row!) I know that I should wear gloves more often while I work, so its very nice that you get a pair of gloves with this set.

Good but thin material

I got these mostly because I needed gardening gloves and the set wasn't much more than the actual gloves. The gloves are great. The pruners are very good. The other tools feel like thin metal. Not sure how long they would last. They are probably good for the season but still too early to tell. They get the job done so I am happy about that.

Quality sucks!!!

I just got me a garden. I was excited to get some tools so I can start planting. I was so disappointed when these came in today. I knew right off the bat they weren't going to be great; because the box was so light compared to other single tools that I ordered. When I opened the box, both shovels had severe scrapes and markings all over it. I decided not to let that bother me; because when I started digging I am going lose some of the surface paint. But it clearly showed that it wasn't quality materials they put on these shovels. The coating is not suppose to come off that easily. The saw is so flimsy you're not gonna be able to saw anything of substance with this thing. Even the handles on the tools...the wood is already splitting. So I am not expecting the handles to last very long. I think I'm just gonna go ahead and wrap some heavy duty duct tape around them, so it will prevent the handles from hopefully splitting and cracking any further than they already have. If you're just starting out, or you need some extra tools... I would move elsewhere.
