Update: The company contacted me with some advice to stretch the hose out. I already had done that, but I did it again, and I left out stretched out for the remainder of the day. Happy to say that now, while it still kinks occasionally, its nothing like the first two days I used it. Im keeping it. Additionally, the company offered me a credit if the hose didnt work out for me - but it has. The light weight makes up for the occasional kink as I have arthritis and easily strain my hands. I received this hose and I manually straightened it out as suggested. But you can see from the photos that it has a mind of its own! The third photo is after I had it all straightened out and then I moved it about 20 feet. It immediately kinked. I am going to pull it straight again and try it one more time. But understand although this hose is very lightweight. 100 feet is going to kink. I have this brand in a shorter hose, and I love it. So far I am sorry I bought this one. If things change, I will update my review.

Perfect home hose. Well made and durable even in the 115 degrees Arizona heat. I keep it off the ground and on a reel for ease of use and to protect it. Use it with my water pressure wash machine. (Craftsman). Get one. Once again a great inexpensive product.

This is one of those 'you get what you pay for' situations. After years as a homeowner, I've grown tired of cheap hoses degrading, kinking, and breaking. This hose costs more, yes, but it is definitely higher quality and I suspect it will last longer than three years. Yes, it does kink, but it is surprisingly easy to unkink (after some months so far - I do not expect it to degrade like cheaper hoses because it is clearly made of a different material entirely). If you need a hose that hates kinking, you will have to buy something thicker (which means heavier - look at the weights of different hoses). But this is a very good, 'normal' hose.

I ordered two of these hosesone 50 feet; the other 100 feet. They work well. They appear to be heavy duty, but are reasonably light in weight. They are advertised as kink proof, which is a bit of an exaggeration. But they are kink resistant.

I love this 100ft hose. Bought it two years ago and still like new. I now have need of another hose so I'm buying a second one. Not sure what those people with the pictures of wadded up hose did to get them like that. As with any hose once you roll it up you have to flip it as you pull it out, but it still does not kink up easily. Nice and flexible but not too flexible to kink easily. My only complaint would be that the grip part doesn't stay in place so ends up being half way up the hose. Easy to take on and off the sticker as well. Great hose, money well spent. By.
