The media could not be loaded. I bought a new riding mower and wanted to be sure I didnt catch the mower blades on some protruding tree roots in my yard and cause mower damage. A chain saw was out because the roots are buried in dirt and chainsaw blades and dirt will ruin the saw blade fast. I also didnt want to cut the roots out and damage the tree. I tried a reciprocating saw but it was slow work. The flat disk in this set flattened out the 6 protruding roots I had in short order. I can now run my new mower over the root with no worry about machine damage and I avoid over cutting the tree roots. I have not used the cupped blade yet but I know it was act exactly like the flat blade - cut fast and smooth. Definitely with the $ for me!

I recently had a huge maple tree chopped down, and the stump ground. With all the wood chips flying around, he missed a few outlying roots. I tried a few other tools I had on hand, but nothing worked. Saw this, ordered 2, and gave it a try. It was perfect for my needs. A few caveats. I paired it with a Dewalt drill, and it went through batteries very fast, have spares handy. Also, make sure whatever you're carving on is dry as possible. It will clog up the wetter it is. I had to stop occasionally and take a wire brush to it to get it unclogged. But, it stays sharp and looks like it will last quite a while. Very good for the price point!

these will remove material in a hurry... be cautious and slow. don't be aggressive... or it will jerk away from or worse into you.... go slow.

This carving disc shaves off wood rapidly and effectively. A word of warning, practice with it a bit on some scrap pieces of the kind of wood you're going to "carve." It takes a bit of getting used to. You can reduce a plank of wood to sawdust pretty quickly! *grins*

Grinder, easily lost, they should include a few of them - Other than that drawback these work well for wood sculpture. A powerful Grinder is recommended. Make custom things you need and cannot purchase anywhere.
