Keeps sauces where they belong.

Perhaps I'm using it backwards (judging by the listing's picture), but I put the "dirty" cooking utensils in the little sections at the top to contain the sauces that may otherwise run onto the whole mat. The slots allow for the utensils to stay in place and can keep different sauces isolated (if you should happen to use two different BBQ sauces - as in one regular and one with less sugar or a different flavor). It is very flexible and folds nicely for storing when not in use. It cleans easily and does not retain a smell.

On the Flimsy Side

A little on the flimsy side. I have a Blackstone mat shown for comparison and it is thicker and made a stronger material. The price point for this mat should be more like $10-$12.

Nice to use, cleans and stores easily.

This silicone grill tools mat fits just right on my grill's side. It cleans up easily and folds for storage. Actually makes bringing in used tools easier because I just fold them all up into it - much easier and safer than using a plate. It does state it is dishwasher safe, presumably top rack. But in usage it doesn't work great in the dish washer for two reasons: 1) It takes up a lot of room in the top rack of the dishwasher. I haven't figured out a way to fold or roll it where it will still get cleaned in the dishwasher, other than just laying it flat upside down. 2) The utensil holder bumps are hollow on the bottom, so when you put it in the dishwasher, they end up filled with dish water. Not a big deal - so long as the person emptying the dishwasher knows to watch for all that water! Super easy to just clean up in the sink with a little dish soap.

Nice color and shape, but it took awhile to flatten out

First of all, I love the look and shape of this mat, it's a great fit for my Blackstone 30", and it helps me keep my grill clean since I can bring it inside when I am done and wash it with my dishes. The only thing I don't like about it is that it arrived folded up with rubber bands, and took several days of laying flat in the sun to even out.

What I expected

This mat arrived folded in a box. Once unfolded, it lays flat. The dimensions are accurate. The mat is made of thick, durable silicone. It provides a protected surface for my Blackstone when I am using it. I really like that it's dishwasher safe.
