Nice Valves, good quality, good packaging

When I pulled open this valve and set it along several 1" Tees I was preparing for the install, I immediately realized this valve would not fit. The PEX fitting was, as many reviews here stated, "too big" for a 1" PEX pipe. However, and I'm talking to the DIY'er's like myself: See this in the description. "for use with cold expansion rings in compliance with ASTM F1960." COLD EXPANSION, only for use with PEX-A or PEX-C. Most of the DIY'ers are using crimp or clamp fittings with PEX-B pipe, because we lack the expensive expansion tools. So, avoid Pex fittings with ASTM F1960 or "cold expansion" in the description. My valve needs to go back. I was more focused in finding this valve than the fine print. My bad. Attention: ZeeBooth Customer Support - Notice how many reviews indicate folks are having the same problem. Suggest you add a standard warning for any PEX ASTM F1960 type fittings, to the effect that these fittings ARE NOT FOR USE WITH CRIMP OR CLAMP bands.

Like the other reviews the valve is too big for 1" PEX water line, I will end up finding a way to use them or give to someone who can use them. Seems to be made well.

While the brass was embellished with 3/4" and the tag also said 3/4" these were not for 3/4" PEX Pipe. It looks like they are for 1" PEX Pipe. I did not have any 1" PEX Pipe to see if it would fit But I am positive that the 3/4" PEX Pipe was not going to fit.

I have a whole house cutoff and then angle stops at various fixtures, but recently Ive wanted to do some work on both my house and my workshop, some of which go on for over a week because I am only able to deal with it after work. I wanted a way that I could isolate certain parts of the property so I could work on that and not be in a rush to get everything connected because the whole house is down. This was the perfect solution. I cut the PEX and installed this ball valve in the line and now I have much more control and can take as long as I want to finish whatever I am working on. These are heavy and solid and I feel really good about how long they will last and how well they will perform for the long term. They took the ends of my PEX as expected and I was able to crimp them without any issues. The ribs bit into the PEX nicely and there were no leaks anywhere. The valves moved smoothly and opened and closed completely. They seem very rugged and secure. If they fail sooner than I would expect them to, I will update my review but for the moment, these are an excellent alternate to more expensive options at the big box home improvement stores.
