Versatile set to have on hand...

Although I didn't have an immediate need for this set of couplers/connectors, there WILL come a time when I will need one or the other to either change the gender or couple several hoses together. These are heavy duty and well constructed. They are easy to grip when tightening or loosening and seal well (I did test them to ensure they were water tight). Nice addition to my arsenal of lawn and garden hardware and fittings...

Fits standard hoses

On par with the good quality ones I get from the hardware store, but I didnt have to go search for the correct size. Haha These are pretty standard, not a niche size. I got the 4 piece set for my automatic watering setup to connect slow soaker hoses for my garden beds. They came with 4 little rubber O rings to help ensure a good seal. Its important to mention that if using with slow soaker hoses, you want to use a flow regulator for the longevity of your hoses. These connectors are exactly as described and fit my hoses perfectly. Would definitely buy again next time I need to switch some out or expand my soaker system for the garden beds.

Always good to have on hand

These are those trivial things that you should have on hand and you dont use for months and months and then one day you need it and there it is. Its one of those things that are annoying to go to the store for and sometimes they dont even have it. Ill say the quality is as expected. Solid brass is the way to go and its so much smoother than the zinc or the other cheaper kinds. The threads work well and smooth. It comes with some extra gaskets and I think its important to have a special box just for hose adapters and spare parts. Over time these things accumulate in your garage and its good to have it stored somewhere good. The connectors themselves though are great and Im glad I have them.
