Wife constantly asked me to change some of the hoses/fittings from out outdoor faucet. I will admit, it's relatively tough to get things on and off. I found this little gem, for the price I couldn't be happier. It's durable and the mechanisms are just stiff enough that it adjusts when you mean for it to. I didn't personally notice a difference in flow, unlike the big store brands that resteicted the flow down to nothing. Came with extra washers, threads are sized appropriately and seal it up tight. I would recommend.

Was happy when i felt the heft of this Y splitter, it is solid and well worth the money spent and a solid plus is the valves are firm but turn smoothly and the valve is actual steel and not plastic which means it should out last me in longevity. A solid 5 stars!

I had to replace a different splitter and took a chance on this one. I liked the fact that the shutoff valces were metal instead of plastic and they are easy to turn. It appears to be working well and seems pretty durable being all metal construction on the outside. I think it was a pretty good value for the price and hopefully it lasts a long time without issue. I've been using it for about a month and there are no leaks and it's still easy to turn off and on to divert water. I would reccomend this model.

After paying the plumber to remove an aluminum splitter that "welded" itself to the hydrant, he said I needed a brass model. My only concern is the relatively short handles. My previous unit had longer handles that worked easily with my arthritic hands. These are at least double ended, which may help. They required a pliers to turn initially, so I have to help they will loosen a bit with further use.

This is a solid splitter that I installed it with the thread tape. No leak at the connection point to the source and no leak on either of the valve switches. The include rings are a nice item if attaching to a host that didn't have it's own ring.
