Not like the old soaker hoses

When I opened the package, I was shocked, this IPOW Drip Watering Hose is so small, like a heavy ribbon draped over my hand. In my mind I think I was picturing the old hard rubber type soaker hose, you could turn the water on and just leave them, they seemed to sweat water; not so with this one. The water comes out faster, like huge drips, still a water saver, but will just have to leave on less time. The end that attaches to the hose has a rubber plug/gasket with holes in it to slow the water down and a spare, possibly try to add the spare and it may slow the drip more? I thought of the soaker type hose because I am going to be gone and am trying up make it easier on my husband to water and hopefully save my plants. It has been 100+ degrees lately and they need to be watered/cooled off at least twice a day, not a lot of water but enough they dont shrivel up and die. This is the perfect solution and so easy to use, just arrange around your plants or where you want the water to soak in, attach hose, set timer and turn on the water. I used this drip watering hose as soon as I got it today, hottest time of the day and so easy and with the drip it definitely saves water, it concentrates in one place and soaks in right where you need it, no run off or splash or evaporation. My plants had already started to wilt and shrivel, this watering perked them right back up. I already ordered another longer IPOW Drip Watering Hose to finish out this section of plants, will have to use a splitter to attach both hoses but will definitely help to save my plants..I hope. I do recommend this drip watering hose, not a five star due to water coming out a bit too fast for a soaker hose (my expectations). And no way of telling how durable they will be.

We bought it to water a particular flower bed, that the yard sprinkler system does not cover. I specifically like to use it when I travel away from home and cant hand water that flower bed.

One works, One doesn't.

Ordered 2 X 50ft soaker hoses. One works, but the other, hooked up exactly the same way, to the same spigot, does not drip at all. Rock hard, full of water pressure, bone dry. Now do I uninstall 100ft of dirty hose and put it all in a box to return it when I only need one hose replaced? I'll be happy to remove this review if I get a solution here.

Perfect for Watering

I have a few different types of these hoses now, and I have to say, this one is probably my favorite. It comes well packaged and is surprisingly lightweight -- so lightweight that at first, I was a little concerned about it's durability. But the moment I set it up (which was very easy and intuitive) and started using it, my concerns evaporated. This house is extremely durable and sturdy, and (as mentioned) it's very easy to use. I have a side garden that I've been using it on and it works perfectly for my purposes. It's efficient and easy to move around due to its lightweight style, and it does a very good job and keeping things watered. Another thing that really impressed me is the price. It's definitely a bargain. In short, I'd recommend this soaker hose to anyone interested in gardening -- whether it's for serious gardening or just casual watering. I'm glad I got it and want to get a couple more!
