These are great for the pool skimmer, but they are also great for saving my shop vac filter. There are 20 of these in the package, so I have them in our pool skimmer baskets to add another level of protection against the smaller material making its way into our pool pump. I also have one of these socks over the filter in my shop vac. Just like for the pool, this adds another layer of protection against debris getting into the motor of my shop vac. My shop vac has a filter cloth which is pretty inexpensive, but for those with a shop vac that uses an expensive baffle type filter, these socks would save some serious $ by prolonging the life of that filter. These are so versatile that I may experiment on using these with other equipment that has dust collection features. Highly recommend!

These filter socks are a great value. The set comes with 20 socks. They are also reusable if you want to clean them. But for the price, when they are really dirty, I throw them away and put in a fresh sock. They are super stretchy so should fit on a variety of skimmer baskets. They fit my above ground Intex skimmer just fine.

I only just learned about pool skimmer socks earlier this year. Im blown away by how they work and the stuff that they catch. I believe my filter life has been extended by a month or two. The KGC Pool Skimmer Socks seem to work well, but they do seem to have not as fine mesh as other brand socks, but they do work. The price is right, especially when a coupon is offered. With the good price is allows replacement every few days.
