These links are very nice, the threads are smooth and easy to turn. They are very consistent from quick link to quick link. You can tie two chains together or wrap a chain around an object and tie the links together. They are made out of stainless steel so there wont be any rusted threads to ever deal with. The work very well to pull out a dead fruit tree. I dont know how well they would work on larger trees that have a much greater root system in hard ground. I havent had a need to pull one yet. These are a keeper.

I ordered these for using around the campsite. They will work great for lines and tent ropes. I looked at similar products in my local hardware store and as you can see, for the cost of two you can get ten. The ones in the store do have a heavier working limit though but for my usage I don't need that. I'm not pulling cars with them. They're stainless steel with threaded openings. The securing nut spins easily and snugs up tightly to close. They ship fast and arrive in a pack of ten.

Nicely finished quick links with a fully threaded connection over the entire 9 mm opening. The threads are good and these links seem to be very well made. The screw connection tightens firmly when closed and of course they hold very well. I am using these in a counterweight system with a maximum load of less than 50 pounds so they are obviously more than strong enough for that purpose. Recommended.

For less than a buck a piece, one shouldn't expect much. Given the price, these are pretty good. For light duty use (hanging potted plants, a small shade sail, or medium to small decorative items) these are great. I would not use them on the grandkids swing set, or for any use in which failure would cause bodily harm. The listing says the M5 size links are rated for 650 pounds. My guess is that 650 pounds is the breaking strength. It's working load should be much, much lower. For weightier projects, I would definitely go up a size or tow.
