This not-so-instant glue isn't the worse, but I find it my least favorite "super" glue to work with of my three go-to adhesives for DIY and repairs. This is not CA based glue. It takes longer to dry and doesn't work well on TPU at all. This could be because the glue itself is polyurethane based, but I'm no chemist. I don't care for the tube it comes in either, as glue tends to ooze out even after you've applied the amount you want so you need to cap it quickly. It worked really well on bonding PETG to PETG, which was surprising. It doesn't work well on metal at all, but at least it also won't rust it like my favorite non-toxic glue by API. The hold could stand to be stronger for the materials it wasn't designed to work with, making this a one trick pony of a glue IMHO. That isn't a bad thing, but this is not much of an all-rounder if you ask me. You can only definitely use this on plastic with excellent results, just not TPU for those who 3D print things. I've also had success with with a shoe repair. I would say the smell is slightly less off-putting than standard CA/superglue. Overall, it is decent. 4 stars

Have you ever bought those multi-packs of superglue? You use a tube once, just a couple of drops, and by the next time you need it, the tube is dry, even though you only used a couple of drops last time? And then it hits you, THAT is why they sell them so cheaply in multi packsthey KNOW it is a one-time use! I needed to get that out of my systemthanks for bearing with me. I was excited thinking about buying super glue in a large tube that wouldnt dry out between uses. What a great idea! Well not so fast there! This is not super glue. It does not set immediately. It will not hold against the will of gravity unless you physically hold whatever you are gluing in place for a minute or two. Yeah, it does work, but I thought I was getting an instant-set huge tube of super glue. Queue disappointment. I was thrilled to actually get a tube of super glue that wouldnt dry out before the next use, and in its defense, the Weglau has the most intelligent applicator tip that I have used. I feel that you could go a year between uses, and still get a fresh, even flow due to the unique end sealing approach theyve employed. The ad describes it as a precision open needle top for pin point application and that is very true. It applies very well, and exactly where you want it. Ive tried this on plastic, cardboard, metal, and fabric. It holds very well given adequate drying and curing time on plastic, cardboard/wood, and fabric, and not so well on nickel and zinc. Candidly, I dont foresee a need to glue nickel or zinc ever in my future, but it did make me wonder how it would work on gold or silver jewelry. I have nothing on which to try it, he lamented. Perhaps another reviewer has reported that experience? I was quite shocked on delivery. The product was completely unprotected; shipped in a thin cardboard advertising box placed in a plastic envelope. Everything was squished. The cardboard box was flat, but surprisingly, the tube was unbroken, and uncompromised. I would STRONGLY encourage whoever ships these to provide some type of protective padding to insure that the contents of the tube are not spread over the inside of the envelope next time. Perhaps a box with some popcorn? Or just a box? Anyway, the product works on most of the stuff they describe online. Metal not so much for me. I tried this glue on ceramic, glass, and plastic. It worked great on all three without a mess. It only has a little bit of smell, but it is still best to use it in a ventilated room. The small metal nozzle makes it easy to apply the glue in the right place without a mess. I was able to move pieces around to get them in the right place. After applying it on the measuring cup I held the handle in place for about a minute. It stayed in place so I then left it undisturbed for two days just to make sure it dried completely. (I left all the item undisturbed for two days even though only 24 hours is suggested). I love how the glue dries clear and you cant see it on the glass. I was also able to glue together my ceramic piggy bank so the cracks hardly show. The places where the cracks do show up are because of small missing pieces. I would definitely get this glue again.

Well, after getting a whole 2.1 oz in "super glue" I thought what a deal compared to the extremely small usual super glue squeeze tubes. Well, I first tried to glue 2 pieces of cardboard together which failed but then realized the instructions call for 6-8 minute drying time and 24 hours to completely cure. So I took two metal washers of which metal is one of the things it should work according to the instructions. I placed a reasonable amount (not too much) on a washer and squeezed them both together. They did stay together as they dried. I spent 35 minutes (27 minutes more than the 8 minutes recommended) Result? I could still easily pull them apart! I was disappointed as I really wanted this to work well. They did do a real nice job at the open end. There is a small metal spout with a male end on end of cap that goes inside of spout before screwing on cap to avoid any dried mess. That is something all othere super glue manufactures should adopt. But for this glue, unfortunately gets a thumbs down for a real lack of holding power.
