Ive been using these for YEARS on plants that arent even orchids and I really like them. Durable, breathable, its a good plastic pot

These pots work well. I repotted 4 Phalaenopsis this weekend. Two older ones got these pots. One pot is cracked on the side, but not unusable, and now contains one of my oldest phals, since I noticed the crack afterward. Packing for shipping could be better.

Id have to say, I think these are one of the best orchid pots out there for a decent price. I snag them when the price lowers a little or if these are on a deal for the day. The plastic is thick. The holes are plentiful and I dont worry about roots sticking out the sides since I can easily pull them out when repotting (unless there are crazy branches in the root). I reuse these and also have other types of plants in them. Chunky aroid mixes work for these although you get a little spills of smaller soil, perlite, etc from the holes on the sides. These have some heft to them compared to other pots with the slit openings. Those tend to also become more opaque with use and age but these wash up well and look great after some time. I do like that they fit well into standard pot sizes too! Other orchid pots are always a hit or miss with slip potting.

I love these clear orchid pots. Great design ffor orchids weathe you use bark or keramzit, moss or your own mix you will be able to see if there is still moistur inside the pot or everything dryed out. Also the roots are visible, which is great. The plastic was not as clear as on the picture but you can still see through the walls. Side holes are nice size, I have a few supporting mount sticks coming out of them, which helps if your orchid is sick or rootless and needs extra support. On the bottom there are little drainage holes round and slits, great to avoid all that extra water sitting in the pot. Also inside, at the bottom small plastic raised "bed", in case you trying semi-hydrophonics and what your planyer's bottom part in the water. I will be looking for same quality, same design product but with taller sides. This works great for smaller orchids, or where the root system is not developed yet.
