I live on an island and have to lug my potting soil on the ferry. I love this product because it is compressed into small, lightweight disks and then with the addition of water, each disk grows to be a pot of material perfect for starting seeds. I love planting with this coconut husks material. I am very happy with this product.

This is not just for cat grass. It is ideal for growing any kind of herbs. I'm using it for my mint garden and I love it. The discs are easy to work with and they add all the nutrients that are necessary for healthy plants to thrive. I personally wear gloves when handling them but they are not that messy either way. There was only minimal debris in the bag and all of the discs were more or less fully formed. I would recommend this potting soil for anyone with indoor plants, whether or not you have cats!

These are those pressed discs of soil that when you put in water they expand. I do like using these for my houseplants because I don't have to deal with bags of dirt and I can pot my plants in the sink without too much mess. They are nice and compact so easy to store. Its also organic an chemical free, nice to grow herbs or other edible plants in and I like that its safe for pets because my cats can be diggers-lol, and knowing its organic and won't hurt them.
