Gives good smoke flavor

This is the first time I've tried cold smoking. The smoke tube was easy to set up and gave hours of great smoke for the cheese we were using to learn on. Recommended for beginners and experienced grillers alike

For $8, this is the best cold smoker you can buy

The media could not be loaded. Easy to load with Pellets, Easy to light with culinary torch, stays lit, generates lots of smoke, costs $8.00!! I tried sawdust spiral cold smoker that wouldn't stay lit, and burned across the smoker instead of a spiral. I purchased a Masterbuilt slow smoker attachment that arrived DEAD ON ARRIVAL for $53 and even modified my smoker in anticipation of it working... My last option was this pellet tube which works great! Dont waste your time, buy this its cheap and it works well

I give 3 Stars for anything average

My son had one, so I promptly bought one. It is a very handy way to get smoke on my steaks. I wish it had some kind of lid rather than an open end, but it's not a big deal. I also plan to find some container to shove it into when the steaks are taken off--to smother the embers for next time. (Doing this is Not as flavorful as always using fresh wood, but now you know and can mentally upgrade this to five stars :-)

Works as advertised

I loosely packed the tube 3/4 full which lasted me 2.5 hours. I soaked a shot full of pellets in rubbing alcohol for 5 minutes and placed them in the top of the tube and allowed it to burn for a minute and then blew it out. Very easy. The smoke was great. It didnt billow out but was constantly producing smoke. A lot more than my Traeger 780 Pro on 275 degrees produces. It does not have the super smoke feature.

Great smoke volume.

I like the fact that the tube holds an ample volume of pellets to produce smoke for several hours. I like that a hook to hang the tube and a brush to clean the tube are included. Once the pellets are lit, it's a "place it and forget it situation". The holes displacement produces an air draw to keep the pellets lit and producing a good volume of smoke. It adds the smokey goodness to food cooking on propane, charcoal, wood chips in an electric.smoker or to add to the smoke already available in a pellet smoker.....great versatility and a great way to add smoke flavor. I definitely recommend this product.
