This tape does exactly what its intended to. My garden hose gun was spraying and leaking all over the place. This tape fixed my problem!

This seems like pretty standard Teflon tape like what you can get a your local hardware store for a dollar a roll. Its not labeled at all so its hard to tell how thick it really is and it came just jumbled in a plastic bag. Its a bit more convenient to use than the 1/4 inch wide tape that is included with some plumbing items but its a larger amount than I really needed and it hard to get excited about Teflon tape in any case.

I use teflon tape in my garden irrigation setup. I use it where hoses attach to the taps/spigots (whatever y'all call 'em); where watering heads/hand attachments attach to hoses; where soaker hose ends meet other soaker hose ends, and where hose ends meet sprinkler attachments. I dislike leaky points in irrigation. Drives my water bill sky high, wastes water; gets me wet when I don't want to be. Since I have to take watering heads off the hoses to attach the sprinklers, I go through tape quickly. I also go through it when I'm setting up irrigation in the spring, since I disassemble the complete set up in the fall. This tape is average quality. Same you'd find in any home improvement store.

Got to use one of these to seal up a garden hose that was spraying quite a bit out of the nozzle. This has kept the threads sealed, and took care of the leaking problem. I personally like keeping a few of these handy in my toolbox, as you never know when you might need them. All told, this is a great set of plumbers tape that works as expected. Definitely recommend!
