I got these to help clean the deposits on my pool tile and grout at the waterline. They do a good job. I used them as hand tools (no pole) for this effort, but they fit my stand pole for cleaning stains on the bottom of the pool. The wire bush is like any other wire brush I have purchased, nothing special, but it does the job. The pumice stone is better than previous stones I have purchased. I like that I am able to attach it to a pole and this stone also lasts longer than other one I have purchased. Other pumice stones I have purchased disintegrate quickly, but this one is denser and cleans well, but does not immediately wear down. This is a nice cleaning kit for my pool.

I have a gunite pool that is getting pretty old. Every spring, I have new brown stains from leaves that have sat on the bottom for too long, and this year, the kids decided to throw a change in the pool and left some pennies on the bottom that also left stains. Kids, right? My regular nylon pool brush couldn't remove them. This wire brush and pumice stone combo did a much better job and scrubbed off most of the stains. It looks so much better! I have used other wire brushes before, with moderate results, but I have not used a pumice stone before. That is the game changer. It loosens up the stain and the brush does the rest. The brush is also great for getting hard water stains off of the tile. I did some research, and you want to be very careful when using brushes like this in your pool. Scrubbing too hard can damage the concrete or gunite. If you have a vinyl pool, you shouldn't use this brush at all, as it will rip up your liner. This brush is not for cleaning your whole pool; you only want to target problem areas. Both tools are easily attached to my standard pool pole and swapped out via the quick-release mechanism. The material and construction of both attachments are of high quality, and they should last a long time. If you have leaf stains (or penny stains), tough algae, or stains at the water line, this combo is a great solution. Just be careful!

I've had stubborn hard water on my inground pool for the entire 2 yrs since moving in. Nothing has worked. Then I found this.. and the clouds parted. With very little elbow grease, the hard water stains disappear. It's like using a pink eraser on pencil marks. Love it. So happy. Will need more for how big the pool is and how extensive the stains are, but will happily clean my pool now since it works and it's so easy!

This stainless steel brush set is great for cleaning gunite pools. I use it as a handheld brush to scrub algae from around the outside of the pool. It also connects to a pole to scrub harder to reach places with a bigger brush.
