Adios! Professional Blue Spray Dye Marker Review: Messy Application, Mixed Results

My experience with the Adios! Professional Blue Spray Dye Marker, advertised to make 16 gallons of indicator for grass and lawn, was unfortunately far from satisfactory. While the concept of a spray dye marker for lawn applications seemed promising, the execution left much to be desired. The application process of the dye marker was messy and cumbersome. Furthermore, the blue color of the dye marker was difficult to wash off surfaces, including skin and clothing, leaving behind stubborn stains. Cleaning up after using the product proved to be a time-consuming and frustrating task, adding to the overall disappointment of the experience. In terms of effectiveness, the dye marker did provide some indication of where the product was applied on the grass and lawn. However, the messy application process and difficulties in achieving even coverage undermined the utility of the marker as a reliable indicator for lawn treatment. Overall, I found the Adios! Professional Blue Spray Dye Marker to be more trouble than it was worth. The messy application, staining issues, and inconsistent results detracted from its intended purpose as a lawn indicator. I would not recommend this product to others seeking a hassle-free and effective solution for marking grass and lawn areas.

Use gloves when using. If you do get on your hands, use Dawn soap and a scrub brush to get it off.

I added recommended amount of color to the amount of weed killer I had in my sprayer. It worked great. I was able to see where I had already sprayed. It faded in a few days just like advertised. This dye saves time and money. You are not spraying what you have already sprayed.

Either Useless or Mislabeled. Either way don't buy this product

i bought the 8 oz bottle. It was clearly labeled Good for 8 Gallons and Royal Blue. I was using a 2 gallon sprayer with the herbicide Tenacity to kill the bentgrass in my lawn. I poured 1/4 of the bottle into the sprayer. I was surprised because the color was not blue; it was a yellow/orange. I figured that it would turn blue when I added the water. Nope! It was pretty much colorless once diluted in the sprayer. I thought that there was a slim chance that it would turn blue as I sprayed. Nope! The only thing that marked my path as I sprayed was a slight sheen from the liquid. OK. So I sent a note to Compare Brands via their website. When I didn't hear back from them after a few days, I sent an email to [****]. It's been a week and I haven't heard a word. I returned it and got credit, but I would have liked to have had a explanation. Ineffective product; terrible customer service.
