The blades are very sharp. I have smaller hands, and these fit my grip easily. They have lots of cutting power. The lock is effective and doesn't pop on or off as you work, as has happened with a much more expensive pair from another manufacturer. They're easy to clean.

I wasn't expecting much for this price, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a beautiful pair of pruners and feel better made than other pruners in the same price range. I like the way they feel in my hands (I have small hands, by the way) and I've used them a few days in the row to do some pruning on smaller sucker branches. They will be a regular addition to my tool bag and not relegated to my pile of second class tools that I keep around in case I lose my favorites.
