The description for this pot is accurate it is plastic, small and terracotta in color. The scrollwork on this little planter is so nice. Its adorable its made from a very sturdy thick plastic, there is no drainage hole, so if you want one it is very easy to drill. Im using it to put my 4 1/2 in x 4 inch plastic pot inside, it fits perfectly. Others have said it looks cheap and looks like plastic. I dont think so I think it is very well made and looks like a real clay pot ( but its not, its plastic). I own several of these planters from this company. They are all very sturdy and very well-made. Im going to be purchasing several more of these small pots for gifts. Im very happy with them, perfect for a small plant or succulent.

I own 3 of these in Terra Cotta and Taupe. Both colors are beautiful in my opinion. They are the perfect size to use as a cover pot for a 4-inch nursery pot. I use mine for my dwarf peace lillies I got at Lowes. I can water my peace lillies, then put them back in their cover pots that look nice and protect my furniture from getting wet. So I'm glad this pot does not have a hole in the bottom. I don't understand the negative reviews.

The real product looks plastic and monochromatic. It is not rustic in appearance and lacks dimension in the design on the surface. It is however, quite thick and has some weight to it.

Firstly, any review that lowballs this pot because of its dimensions is nonsense. The description is accurate, right there in the listing. So, yes it is, as described, a small pot. It does have, however, a really nice, weathered/patina to it that makes it look like something you would find after a season or two out of doors. Maybe that is why folks thought it should look bigger? In any case, it has a great, sturdy weight to it, and that is important for planting the tall amaryllis. I let the soil dry out completely before each moderate watering, since there isn't a drainage hole. I dressed the tops with green florists' moss. EVERYONE LOVED THEIR HOLIDAY GIFT AT WORK. I wish I had a picture to show online. I gave away 17 of them the week after Thanksgiving. Really wish I had kept one for myself!

Misleading in size...my fault for looking at picture and not reading closer. Plastic, no drainage. Would not purchase again and would have sent back if I had time.
