These are very good connectors. They crimp well and don't split and the heat shrink is thick and rigid which really clamps down and seals on the outer jacket.

I usually solder and heat shrink all connections, and kept seeing videos and ads for products like this, so I finally decided to try it. First, when you get these connectors right the connection looks very clean and professional as opposed to usually ill fitting heatshrink that shows exactly where the connection is. However, I had a hard time getting these right at first (think burned plastic smell and ugly black burn spots), as I use a micro-torch for my heat-shrinking jobs. If you go to slow they burn, too fast and they don't shrink evenly to the wire. I still give these five stars, because they look great when you get them right, especially the back to backs. I like the ring connectors and the spade connectors too, but I usually heat shrink over them anyway, because I like the color on the connector to match the wire that I use them with (ie. green for ground). So far I have used these in a pinball machine, sprinkler system, 3d printer, and to fix a connection for an aftermarket stereo in my friend's car. I will likely order these again when I run out, but will definitely practice before doing final connections, especially where water-resistance is necessary (I am not 100% sure, but am pretty confident that burning these compromises the water seal, not to mention that the burns are beyond ugly and unprofessional looking).

Works as to be expected

This is a good set of connectors and terminals to have around for when you need one right now. I was glad to have it on hand when I went to replace the speakers in my car because I had exactly what I needed. If you use a lot of these on a regular basis, you're probably better off buying the kind you need in bulk, but for just keeping around the house, it's a good selection. There are 10 each of all the common connectors in three sizes that cover most of the wire gauges you're likely to encounter. I would have liked to have more of the smaller sizes, but that's what I tend to go through the most working on audio equipment. If you're dealing with other things, you might have different needs. They crimp properly and the heat shrink works great, so connections are secure.

For some reason, the yellow10-12awg rings did not crimp properly. I went through 4 of them before I put them in the blue crimper. Unfortunately, that was a waste of 4 terminals out of a limited amount. I recently used the crimper succesfully, so I know it was not the crimper having the issue. The heat shrink worked well. The adhesive spread out to the edges of the shrink and the shrink formed well around the join. I was able to use these, but had to do extra to get them to work.
