This mat is helpful for doing things like cleaning plants inside or repotting small plants. It's not helpful for large or heavy indoor plants. The tools are not really useful and are more cute than anything, but I can see uses for small terrarium upkeep or something similar where normal-sized tools would not fit.

Having an apartment with no yard makes it difficult for me to re-pot my plants without causing a huge mess indoors. This mat is a game changer. The folded edges keep dirt off my floor and I love that it comes with cute pink gardening tools. This comes in handy for planting new plants as well in the spring and starting my seeds. This would be a perfect gift for any plant lover, it folds up well and stores easily. I also love the color and the price was great.

I live in a second-floor apartment with very limited balcony space. This is a great gift for the Gardner in your life that want to be able to repot indoors. the set up was as simple as snapping four hooks together. The color is also so cute. I do wish it had come with some type of storage bag, that's the only downside to this. once its out and unfolded, it can be a bit tricky to refold and store away.

I stumbled across this potting mat and thought what a great idea. I have not had any experience with them, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought this was great. In the past I have rooted around to find a cardboard box to contain the mess I make when repotting. This potting mat contains everything very nicely, and when you're done, you can easily funnel the spilled dirt back into whatever container you want to use. After I was done potting things up, I rinsed it off, and it looked good as new. As far as the tools they include, my first thought was that they were kind of cheesy, but it turns out they're actually very handy for working with small, delicate succulents. I like it.
