This worked great to fix the leaky spigot in the garage. I did have to watch a couple YouTube videos to ensure I fixed it just right, but overall it was simple to fix.

I think there were a lot more parts than I need, which I wish that I didn't have to pay for, but this fixed my drip and I'm pleased with the result. I would purchase this kit again if I couldn't find just the seal.

This is the second time Ive purchased this set to replace our outside a spigot and it fits perfectly. Havent had any issues since replaced.

This isn't marked as OEM, Woodford, but I compared this kit to my 3 other Woodford and the parts appear the same specs, except: 1. The handle isn't marked Woodford, so the next owner trying to replace the seal washer may not be able to determine this is a #14 faucet. 2. You have the option of re-using the original Woodford handle (which is bare aluminum). I dipped the original handle in vinegar (overnight 12 hours) to etch the surface of any corrosion, minerals etc. You can watch YouTube videos, and they all are problem-free installs. I'll share some of my problems encountered. 1. 2 of my faucets had the handles seized on the stem (either corrosion or minerals). I had to remove the entire stem assembly and heat the handle, and tap up & out the handle as a brute force method. The soft alternative, is the apply vinegar to the handle stem. Cut paper towel strips, dipped in vinegar, and wrap the strips around the end of the handle stem, so some vinegar can work its way into the stem. Wait 2 hours. (I also wrapped some vinegar strips around the packing nut, just to promote easier removal.) 2. My faucets were old style, and the packing material was a wax, string material that required removal by prying it out w/ a small head screwdriver. With the packing material removed, you CANNOT re-install without removing the knob/handle to install the new EPDM packing gasket. Otherwise, water will gush out without a new packing gasket. Thus, you must be able to remove the knob/handle. 3. With the packing material removed, you can make several turns (attach the knob to turn the stem/rod), and the rod/stem can be pulled out, showing it's length. My was about 10-12" long (I didn't measure). Remove the seal washer which has been deformed after years of use, and replace it with the supplied new new. My washer was bevel shaped. 4. Clean any gunk from the stem. I didn't bother with dipping it in vinegar unless your stem has a lot of corrosion of mineral deposits. Install the supplied brass packing seal brass washer, and attach the knob, and screw the rod/stem back into the faucet. Handle tighten to the closed position (don't over tighten). 5. Remove the knob, and slide the black EDPM gasket seal and push in to contact the brass washer. Then HAND tighten the new brass packing Nut. Then wrench about 1/4 turn; you'll can tighten more to stop a leak when the water is turned on. For now, a 1/4 turn is OK. Then re-install the new painted knob with the new brass screw. 6. When you hand tighten the stem/rod, avoid over tighten because overtightening will deform the washer earlier. Then turn on the water, and check for leaks at the packing nut. Tighten 1/8 increments until no leaks. You don't want to deform the EDPM packing seal. At this time, there should be no water drip at the faucet when you turn-on the water. Hand tighten was fine. Now, you'll want to turn on the faucet and see the city-pressure flow. When you turn off by turning the know, again, don't overtighten. According to YouTube, when you turn off the water, the 6"-12" pipe tube will have some water, and it will drip out the faucet after turn-off, and many people assume they didn't tighten enough, and will OVER tighten, and deform the seal washer faster. The dripping will stop after the residual water drips out, a few ounces I suppose. 7. To prolong the rubber seal, I attach a separate ball-valve attachment (2 for $11-$15 in ZeeBooth), and use the ball valve instead. I also use a ball valve attachment on front end of a hose to change attachments without on/ff at the faucet. For Winterization, tighten the Woodford seal, and open the ball valve.
