The gloves look small, but they are elastic and can be stretched to fit. It actually does not feel too tight for a medium size hand. It won't fit a bigger hand unless there is a size description I did not find. The claws are nice to have to dig dirt. Very rare to find this feature on other gloves.

The thorn stripper parts of this set do the job but feel a little cheap. The gloves, though, are so convenient! Once I've removed a bunch of weeds, I need to pick up the big pile of plant matter and move it to our burn pile. These claws make it so easy to get underneath the stems and leaves and pick them up! I normally find this job really annoying, but these gloves made it so much easier! I've used them for other similar tasks, such as picking up a bunch of damp cardboard or cleaning out an area of our back yard that had collected garbage and other stuff. So much easier.

My wife says: My hands always get torn up handling rose and raspberry bush trimming -in spite of wearing gardening gloves. I ordered this thorn stripper set in hopes saving my poor hands. The set is just as described in the listing and pictures. It's somewhat awkward but if I grab the branch with the pink flower pad I can cut it off and strip off the thorns with the stripper to make it safe to carry. That's a win! However, the purpose of the gloves with the claws on the right hand is a mystery to me. Thorns go right through the glove material except where the claws are. So, if the claws are supposed to protect against the thorns I would think they should be on the left hand which would be grabbing the branch instead of on the right hand which is wielding the stripper (unless you happen to be left-handed) and in any case they don't protect your palm. So??? Nevertheless, I am glad to have ordered these tools and look forward to less painful trimming sessions in the future.

This set of three is workable and usable, but not the best quality. The pink palm pad is thick and works to protect against thorns. The stripping tool is unfortunately plastic and not durable. Gloves are ok, but best for potting, not for handling thorny plants. Depending on your purpose and usage, this set may work for you, otherwise consider investing in better quality/metal stripping tool.

Its been nice to finally have a thorn stripper, and one of these little grippers that helps me not get all cut up when Im carrying around cut roses or raspberry branches, even some of my evergreens are too sharp to carry around normally. I love to walk the garden and make arrangements, so these work great for my use. I mostly use the gloves for weeding, but I love the sharp finger covers.
