1x4.0mm wires are slighly bigger than 12AWG but not near 10AWG

I took 7 pictures of these MC4 solar parallel Y cables. I took some closeup shots so you can clearly see the printing on the cables in the last three pictures. The white printing on the black wires reads: ... 2PfG 1169 PV1-F 1x4.0mm NINGBO KIBOR WIRE & CABLE CO.LTD ... The pair of cables is constructed of six short 1x4.0mm wires. 4mm is a bit better/thicker than 12AWG but not as thick as 10AWG: 12AWG=3.3088mm , 10AWG=5.2612mm These seem to be fine solar Y cables that are well constructed with good connectors. If you are looking for 10AWG cables for a higher Amp setup then you'll want something else but if 12AWG is fine for your application then these will fit the bill. I'm keeping these with my portable solar kit since it doesn't need high Amps but I prefer to have 10AWG (at very least on the single wire side) for the Y cables in a permanent setup.

They just work

Got a small power station. Was looking for a way to charge it solar. Bought two 100 watt cheap panels off of another auction type site for cheap. Needed these to interface with the cords that come with the battery pack. The pack has a solar charger controller built in. Hooked these up to put the two panels I got in parallel and plugged it in. Worked immediately. Good solid click, with a tight but not so tight you can't disconnect the connection. Exactly what you're looking for if you are looking for a pair of these cables.

Just what you would expect

Those Y branch for MC4 connected cables are just what you would expect. They work well and can handle a 30A load on 10AWG cables. I like them!

Only 4mm wire

These Y cables are only 4mm cables despite being marketed as 6mm. I included a picture showing these cables (upper set) compared to a pair of true 6mm cables (below). You can also see that these cables are marked as 4mm right on the wire. Since I'm using these to parallel just 2 panel sets, I can get away with 4mm. But, this would been a deal breaker if I had other plans for these, like a 3S4P combination with these being the last combiner before the charge controller. I would not trust these in that position. They otherwise connect and disconnect normally with my other MC4 connectors, and they appear to be built well for the job. I didn't find any problems with the sealed areas and they are performing well in a 3S2P array.
