I obtained this to connect a DC-based water level sensor to switch on a pump. Upon receiving this, it came in two parts, the solid state relay and the heat sink. Surprisingly, no screws were included for attaching the heat sink with the relay, nor were they any information about the threads of the heat sink. I was able to determine that they were M3 threads, and I was able to obtain my own screws for attaching these. My testing of the relay consisted of using the relay to switch a simple 120VAC light using a 12VDC power source. I was not able to perform any high-current switching to test the heat-dissipation capability of the heat sink, but the heat sink looks like typical heat sinks I have successfully used previously for these types of solid state relays. The heat sink has slots for attaching it to a surface but can also utilize a pair of channels in the bottom for sliding it onto a 35mm DIN rail. Overall, I am satisfied with this relay and heat sink, and they should work nicely for my pump project.

This is working fine - I'm not pushing the current limits and heat is minimal The turn on is fast and the off is almost instant. The indicator light is a nice feature - just lets you see the state without a meter. Heatsink is a little bulky but provides the necessary cooling. Good, inexpensive SSR

I am using this YQSIYU SSR-25DA for a cat bed heater using a boot warming pad as the heat source. I used an inexpensive PID controller along with this SSR (solid state relay). The SSR and heat sink were well packaged to prevent damage during shipping. It is similar to many other SSRs which are available. Be sure to choose the correct SSR that will work with your PID controller. My controller uses 3-32 volt DC output to control the SSR and I wanted to control 120V AC. This SSR can switch 24 to 480 volts AC. I needed to control only 1 to 2 amps so the 25 amp rating of this SSR is significantly better than needed. Note: You will need 2-M4 screws to attach the SSR to the included heat sink as they were not included. For high current usage it is a good idea to put thermal paste between the heat sink and the SSR, also not included.

I use these solid state relays to build control systems for aquariums (ornamental fish farms). They switch pumps, heaters, lighting and the like. The keys are to make sure the control voltage is in the range of the controller, and use a current handling capability is well above the load you intend to switch. I like to at least double the current versus the load. These relays are easy to use and more reliable than a magnetic relay, especially in damp conditions. This particular relay has a clear plastic cover that protects the terminals from accidental contact, which is a feature that I appreciate.

This Solid State Relay with Heat Sink from YQSIYU is rated for 25A and 24-480VAC Output has an input "coil" rated 3-32V DC. I have found in my bench test the heat sink is useful when using in the higher Amp range. The unit is barely over ambient when used with lower V and A combinations. Pro tip: when installing heatsink in a higher Amperage circuit be sure to slather some thermal paste between it and the SSR. Unit worked well on the test bench.
