Perfect bug catchers

These work great with the pool skimmer we bought to go with these. They are easy to clean and the catch everything in the skimmer. It fits perfect on the basket and the thickness is perfect. Just enough holes to let water out but not too big. They make cleaning you skimmer much easier and the bugs don't go to the filter of your pump. Easy to install on skimmer basket. They hold up good we have washed one and it really holds up to cleaning.

Best above ground pool add on

I ordered this for my 20 foot above ground pool and it was the best thing I ever did. I had read the reviews and people talked about it moving but I haven't had any trouble with it moving on the side of my pool. It collects all the bugs and does a fantastic job.

I clean mine and reuse them no problem. But, with as many as you get... you really don't have to reuse them. They fit great. Catch tons of stuff you don't want your filter to eat. Works great on an above ground pool with added skimmer basket installed onto the pool.

Works Great with Cartridge Filter

I absolutely love skimmer socks with my cartridge filter and this brand works good. I have always had a D.E. filter on my pool and when the last one broke during the pandemic, the prices on plastic/filters were so costly I had no choice but to get a cartridge filter for my pool. The cartridge filter does not work as well as a D.E. filter, actually not even close! It allows all of the smaller debris and undiluted chemicals to return back into the pool. The skimmer socks filter all of the debris from the pool before it enters the cartridge filter and back into the pool. You will be amazed at what you find in there when you change them out! Word of caution, if you get larger debris like leaves in the fall or after a storm you might want to check it more often or remove it altogether because it will clog up quickly and stop the flow of water to your pump. I usually check mine twice a day when opening my pool because it will collect a lot of algae, I change mine every other day during the regular season. If you have never tried them, I think you will like how they work.

Good but not perfect

Skimmer socks are very useful for catching leaves and debris. However, there is a major issue: the seam in the middle gets easily corroded by chlorine tablets, causing a big hole to form each time.
