These are always good to have around. The quality is the same as other brands in this category, but all need a little updating. After a few years or multiple uses, they need to be updated. These have adhesive on the back for mounting to surfaces, however if you try and remove them besure to remove the tape from the surface not the board, otherwise the metal inserts inside will come out, the board is still usable but need to replace the tape or close the bottom off with non-metallic material. I have included two pictures of a header pin installed in one of these boards and a firm PCB type dev board which is more permanent. On these boards the tolerance build up prevents the headers from being used longer than 4-5 pins at a time. THis may be due to plastic or the bending that can occur with these boards. When moved to a more permanent board they fit fine. You can fiddle around and finally get the headers to seat, or simply break the headers down to 4-5 at a time for quick prototyping. As I said, the issues are common with all of these plastic boards, acrylic boards are better on tolerances but more expensive, so the price for value is worth the purchase. NOTE: For those not familiar the metal PCB board I show is not an equivalent replacement for this type board, it is for after you prototype with these plastic boards and determine a more permanent configuration you intended to solder with.

They are fine, and they last over time. I bought a bunch of these, and use them for a lot of projects. They are good enough for hobby etc. use; but I wouldnt build an airplane with this stuff.

Let's face it, all breadboards in most kits are exactly the same. All breadboards area stiff when brand new and all get loose over time. The value for money currently is with this 3 large plus 2 small combination pack. If you want to moan about quality you need to spend the money for quality part and not buy cheap parts and moan they are not exactly the same as quality parts. If I had the need for a semi perminant project and want the best quality breadboard I would buy BB830 by BusBoard Prototype System. You have to pay $8 or more for a SINGLE board for quality. But because most of my projects are short lived trying out ideas, cheap breadboards will suffice and this SunFounder combo package I find to be the best of the cheap breadboards.
