We simply filled these up and they became great weights for our pop up canopy. Its a great way to get extra grounding on a windy day or if you are harder ground or pavement these help with keeping it in place. Keep in mind these are for canopies with the slender poles. They are heavy duty, water proof, with strong strong velcro closers!

Not sure if I didn't use correctly or what the case may be.. I bought gallon bags and put sand in each pocket and felt as though it went to the broom on each bag. These did not hold down my tent at a windy festival so I really can't recommend them. I believe I am going to move to get the hard shell weights.

I'm so excited to use these sandbags. We have several canopies and a couple that are 10x20 and these will be great to hold the posts down. We will still need some of the stakes but this will eliminate some of them and hold the tents down in case of wind. The quality of the sandbags is great. Good material and solid stitching. Great size and velcro fasteners. Unfortunately the weather is still miserable here so I haven't had an opportunity to use our tents. I will update with more pictures and a final review when we finally get to use them.

Over all, this set of 4 reusable cloth sandbags will definitely get the job done. They are sturdy and I really like the middle velcro straps to secure the bags to whatever it is you want to keep held down. The material is thick and the velcro strips are wide with heavy-duty strength grip. I like that each bag has two separate compartments for sand. I feel like this helps you customize and even out the weight. We used rock bags in our test run and found the compartments held up well to the strain of the weight. One downside is that each bag had several loose threads on them. I dont feel like any of these threads would compromise the integrity of the bags. It just feels like poor attention to detail during construction. Still a good value for the price.
