I change out the hose washers every year when I get the hoses out for the season. I have already used a couple of these and they work just as they were meant to.

I used it in my hose nozzle and it did not leak the first time, but it did the 2nd time. I remove the nozzles because here in South Florida if you leave them in the heat they tend to get stuck on the hose and cannot be removed....This way I store them in the patio and use when needed. I'll try again today and hope it was just that I didn't tighten up...It was a little pricey and more than needed, but hopefully they work and will have spares for years and years to come!!!
