Bought the 20 inch size for my Orange Jasmine. The previous planter had deteriorated over the years and that style was no longer available. This planter seems to be thicker plastic with plenty of root room. Since this plant is outside in the sun half the year, deterioration over time is inevitable. We'll see how long this one lasts.

I wanted a lightweight plastic pot to put inside a heavy ceramic planter on our patio. This is working perfectly so far. Time will tell how it holds up to the sun where the rim is exposed. Has drainage holes, which are essential.

This size was perfect for the plant that I transplanted. The color is nice, it is sturdy and it's easy to handle.

Very good plastic pot. Plastic pots do retain water, so keep this in mind for the climate you live in and the plants you want. But this product has no tray if you need one. Fortunately I had a spare one big enough for the pot. But they forgot to mention it has no bottom tray in the add. Not a problem for me fortunately. But they do need to fix that so other people can make sure they have one for it. And they might want to mention plastic pots retain water. Especially if a customer needs a pot for cactus, which do not need a pot that retains water. Cactus do not need a lot of water, but they do need watering at least once a week. In small amounts for the size of the cactus you have. With roses, like my miniature rose it the photo, have different watering needs than cactus. But they too need water at least once a week. But do not overwater them. Roses love moist soil, but their roots hate soggy soil. One gallon of water for large roses per watering will do. For medium roses a half gallon per watering will do. For very small miniature roses and micro roses 1/4 a gallon per watering should suffice. Water roses whenever the top layer of soil is dry. If the soil is moist no water is needed yet. Check them every day to see if they need water. For cactus water when the top layer of soil is completely dry. Check them at least once or twice a week to see if they need water. Anyway, soil is also important with plants. Make sure you get the right soil for your plant. Cactus and roses, for instance, hate garden soil. So do not use that on them. Use rich potting soil with roses, and cactus mix designed for your specific type of cactus species. There are desert cactus that like gritty, fast draining, nutrient poor soil. Then there are tropical cactus that like a little more nutrients in the soil, but still prefer less nutrients than roses. The tropical cactus will thrive better with a species specific soil mix. Anyway. Always be sure to get the properly sized pot for your plants too. This pot here is fin the large side. So for plants that like to be more root bound that are on the smaller side may not want a pot this big. But it is great for smaller miniature roses, micro roses, and small cactus. Maybe some smaller flower species like petunias and marigolds would do well in this pot too. Potted herbs like potted mint and potted basil would do well with this pot too.
